If you’ve been following me for any amount of time, then you know that Andrew and I are huge wine lovers. So when it came to deciding where we should go for a romantic weekend getaway, Paso Robles was a no-brainer.

Nestled halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco in the Salinas River Valley, Paso Robles is wine country heaven. The quaint little town is situated in the middle of breathtaking landscapes and over 200 wineries. The beauty of the vineyards set amongst rolling hills and majestic oak trees is something out of a movie.

We chose to stay at the SummerWood Inn, a charming bed & breakfast located on the same grounds as the SummerWood Winery. Only a 5 minute drive from downtown and close to many neighboring wineries, the location is ideal for both wine tasting and a night out on the town.
